Since 2023, Theresa works at the The Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Center ZBT, an applied research institute in Duisburg, Germany. Her focus topics range from research coordination and career support for early career scientists to communication. Since 2024, she leads the staff unit “Science Management and Communication”, whose responsibilities encompass research data management, coordination of scientific publications and the outreach and PR activities of the institute.
From 2022 to 2023, Theresa worked in strategic science communication at the Center for Nanointegration Duisburg-Essen (CENIDE). She is still in charge of the communication and dissemination work package in the Horizon Europe research project “BatWoMan”, focussing on sustainable battery cell manufacturing.
From 2020 to 2022, Theresa was establishing and coordinating the postdoc program of the PIER Education Platform, a hub for postgraduate qualification.
Representation and Committee Work
From 2007 to 2010, Theresa Schredelseker served as an elected student representative for Philosophy and Biology at the Leopold-Franzens-Universität Innsbruck.
During her PhD, she was speaker for the DFG Graduate School GRK1104 at Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg from 2014 to 2015.
Theresa was active in academic self-administration from 2007 to 2010 at the Leopold-Franzens-Universität Innsbruck, serving on curriculum committees for Philosophy and Biology, faculty councils for the Faculty of Biology and the Philosophical-Historical Faculty, as well as appointment committees for Genomics and Microbiology, and a habilitation committee for Ecology.
